SBS Radio Interview: 2 September 2008
The value of Libraries to today's youth, in France and Australia
In September 2008, I was interviewed on SBS Radio, on their national French program.
In this interview (conducted in French language), I discuss my recent research fellowship in Paris, working at the Biblioteque nationale de France (BnF), studying services for youth.
I also discuss the State Library of Victoria (my role at the time of the interview) and how Libraries must work hard to capture the youth demographic's attention, given that the information in today's world is so easily accessible through other portals.
My interview begins about a third of the way through this downloadable podcast.
